LISA RUSSELL
Pastors
Schad and Lisa Russell felt a genuine call to church leadership from a young age. For many years they served as worship leaders and associates at their family church, Fountain Community. In 2019, They believed it was time to step out in faith and pastor their own church. They received an invitation to come and pastor at Nooksack Christian Fellowship and they have never looked back. Schad and Lisa have 5 kids, 3 of their own and two brand new in-law's. They received an extra gift with their son-in-law's kids becoming part of their family as well. They are passionate about living life in relationship with other people while continuing to point people to the Grace of the Cross.
TAYLOR & MADDY
RUSSELL
Taylor and Maddy have been together since December 10th, 2021 and married since December 11th, 2022. Since the get go of their relationship they knew that they wanted to serve in Nooksack Fellowship together once they got married, how they would be serving however was entirely up to God. Throughout their time at PBC, serving at Mannahouse and serving in various places at Nooksack it was clear that they wanted to do something where they could be involved with the lives and hearts of youth. Whether it be Taylor teaching kids how to dance, the two of them helping with VBC, or aiming to become counselor’s in the future through schooling. Luckily God made a way to do so through becoming the Youth Leaders here at Nooksack Fellowship Christian. They are so excited to be developing relationships with the youth and leading them to a deeper relationship with God. Thank you so much for everyone putting their faith in us. God bless
KENDRA PIKE
I grew up with a love of helping kids. I would frequently hold child care for church events, and assisted in nursery or children’s church. After being re-saved in 2019 my desire is to help kids know the love of Christ and for them to build a biblical foundation that they will use as they walk their journey of life. I assisted in the start up of the children’s program of NCF in early 2021 as the Children’s Ministry Director, hold Sunday service children’s church and Vacation Bible Camp in the summers. As of Aug. 2022 I have been attending Portland Bible College online to further my education.
